Hi, I'm Iqra Asad

I’m a self-taught buttercream artist, cake designer, and educator. What started as a love for creating beautiful cakes has grown into a journey that’s allowed me to teach thousands of students around the world.

After building my business in Pakistan and beginning a new chapter in Minnesota, my mission remains the same: to make professional buttercream techniques approachable, beautiful, and enjoyable for everyone.

From a Bedroom Bakery to Thousands of Students

What started as a passion for decorating cakes grew into Iqwee’s Bakery, where I spent years creating custom cakes, realistic buttercream florals, and teaching students from around the world.

Over the years, I’ve developed techniques that make professional cake decorating approachable for beginners while still offering the level of detail experienced decorators are looking for.

Today, my mission is the same as it was when I first picked up a piping bag: to help bakers create beautiful work with confidence, whether they’re decorating for family, building a business, or simply creating for the joy of it.
